Man Whispers: Milan Mens Fashion Week-Diesel Black Gold Autumn/Winter 2012

Diesel Black Gold debuted their first stand-alone menswear show at the close of Milan Menswear Fashion Week. Rock n' roll as one would expect from the likes of Diesel, the motley crew of long haired grungey boys embodied the different lifestyles of the brand's DNA-dreamer, biker, fighter, dude-in-need-of-a-shave.

The collection harked back to Diesel's roots, emphasizing and expressing the free soul of this metropolitan hero with military construction and vintage biker looks operating beneath an inspirational umbrella of the 1970's and all the free spirit it has to offer.

The look was decisively off-duty, with key items including stretch velvet suits, pony skin peacots, bomber jackets combining leather and felt through needle punch. Leather is central to the Diesel Black Gold' man's wardrobe, he wears it every which we he can and also combines it with knitwear.

Loose fit and high waist pants were matched with lightweight nylon trenches riddles with metallic details. Utility elements give garments a dynamic yet though feeling, such as the 3-D effect on knitwear.
