Man Whispers: Tods Mens Fall 2011, Milan Menswear Fashion Week

Tod’s presented its Autumn-Winter 2011/12 ICONS collection for men in Milan taking inspiration from the late architect Philip Johnson’s “Glass House.” Erected  in 1949, Johnson’s design masterpiece shows how innovation, passion and creativity can successfully combine form and function into an aesthetically impeccable, ergonomic and timelessly stylish whole.



 Tod's this season pays particular attention to the Winter Gommino, a product that merges the contemporary with the traditional, a timeless classic. Mirroring elements of Johnson’s philosophy and the unique way he worked with glass and steel to create the extraordinary. The Winter Gommino, with its light and flexible signature rubber sole, is functional and suited to any occasion. Considered to be Tod’s icon of casual elegance, this must-have design novelty, created in the late Eighties, transformed a sportswear style into something that could also be worn for formal occasions.


The Tod's man this season is elegant, classic and more formal in his appearance.
