Yorkshire Pearl: Penchant for Pendants

BBert's jewellery is back boys and girls, this time with a new name and new brand identity: the Yorkshire Pearl. Though, if you ask me, it's really Bert himself and not the pieces that's the true pearl. Aww. Still going strong with his one-off unique vintage-composite hand-crafted creations, Delphine and I were lucky enough to have his latest creations bestowed upon us when the gang gathered for Thai on All Hallow's Eve. Two pendants, each taking as its base a Victorian door plate upon which either oodles of glitter and assorted sparkly bits or a brass throbbing knob of a heart were encrusted and piled. Though I look somewhat worse for the wear like a saggy pumpkin the morning of Nov 1 in this photo, the necklace looks divinely rustic and perfectly aged against my tweed blazer. Trick or Treat indeed!
