Sharp and fierce vs. sparkly and shifty

It was battlestar shoulder pads at Todd Lynn this spring--at least in the case of a Sasha Fierce ready sharply constructed blazer with Hussein Chalayan-esque sculpted piercing silver shoulder adornment which was by far the collection's stand out piece. The rest was business as usual: butter soft black leather, layers of fine jersey in muted hues draped over tailored linen vest/jackets, etc, etc. Oh and the bizarre leather cuffs meant to be strapped above the elbow with long-flowing strands of straw.
