There was some serious online lovin' at ASOS' Camden headquarters last week: Beauty and the Bloggers, the event was called. A showcase of ASOS' xmas beauty offerings, bloggers were treated like the queens we are with manicures, hair stylists, heaps of makeup to play with as well as champagne and cupcakes for all! The products were laid out like a Christmas tea party, lipsticks peeking out of teacups and eyeliner resting in lieu of spoon on saucer, and included optimal stocking stuffers such as Juicy Couture's latest fragrance to a line of nail polish serendipitously called "Butter. I know what you're thinking, and no, I did not give in to that dark and twisty urge to paint the dog's nails with her eponymous varnish.Familiar faces all around, girly playfulness abounded and many a bloginista stepped out from behind her computer screen and into the blazing white light of the runway specially set up for guests to model looks from ASOS Black range's holiday collection. Even the photographer had a little go at a walk. Afraid had our dearest Tyra been there, with only one photo in her hand, he would not be amongst those continuing on in the hope to become America's Next Top Model. But when Miss Butters took to the catwalk, it was, of course, a different story. She is well on her way to that $100,000 contract with Cover Dog. Or at least the face of what should be ASOS' next venture: ASOP: "As Seen on Pomeranian."
